Wednesday on Fox News Channels Your World, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told host Neil Cavuto it was his view that if it were a U.S. intelligence agency that leaked an unsubstantiated dossier on President-elect Donald Trump and his relationship with Russia to the press, there should be repercussions, including prosecution and possible jail time.
What I would say is that if there is private information that someone is blackmailing a public figure and the public figure or someone takes it to the intelligence agencies, you would think it would be private. And really, this is so important that I think whoever leaked it should be prosecuted. Someone should go to jail if this was an intelligence agency head talked to the media, they should go to jail. If it was the Obama administration, they should go to jail.

> Well Rand, lets see what you say when the prestitutes start admitting it was Johnny McCain.
If you’ve ever heard him speak, he has a talent for understatement. This statement was all but a direct call to have McCain thrown in the slammer.
He obviously knows the 4chan story including the probable chains of transmission, in which McCain is a public, self-admitted, and fixed element in the universe of possible relevant events.
Its not like there is any doubt, McCain admitted he gave the fake report to CNN.
McCain’s Dad and Grandfather were honerable Navy Admirals.
Too bad they didn’t teach John that Loose “leaky” lips sink
ships
McCain is on committees where he has clearances to view Top
secret intel.
McCain should have his clearance revoked.
VERY PETTY TO LEAK FAKE DOSSIER JUST TO HURT HIS ENEMY DONALD J TRUMP. VERY PETTY. 80 YEARS OLD TO OLD TO BE
A TOTAL FOOL.
Why is our government maintaining an intelligence report on Trump anyway? I thought that the CIA had no role domestically.
Clapper is the one making the most noise. “He who smelt it dealt it.”
Yeah, they’ll get right on that right after they prosecute the people responsible for those 700 FBI reports that Hillary had copied........................
The behavior of practically all of our elected officials over the past several decades indicates that it's not just Trump. It's common, and it's done to control them.
Now isn’t that the irony - the only blackmailing going on is the CIA/FBI to Trump.
Even if Putin had dirt on Trump how could it be worse than what has already been said about him? And does anyone really believe that Trump would back down from the Russians because they threatened to leak bad info on him? That is laughable. Hillary would likely do that but not Trump.
NOT ANY DOUBT, MCCAIN HIMSELF ADMITTED HE SPREAD THE DOSSIER, LEAKED IT TO CNN. I AGREE WITH PAUL MCCAIN WANTED TO SMEAR TRUMP WITH WHAT HE KNEW WAS FALSE DOSSIER.
MCCAIN SHOULD PAY THE CONSECQUENCE, IF ITS JAIL, HE CAN JUST ACT LIKE HE IS BACK IN THE HANOI HILTON
I would be very unsurprised if it turned out to be McCain that leaked it.
Probably won’t say a thing-Rand Paul is not all that fond of McCain-thinks he’s a weasel and warmonger...
could you use a bigger font?...It’s so small, I can’t read your post?
There’s no fool like an old fool.
I think when someone posts by phone the font automatically comes up this size, I could be wrong though!!!
whoa...is that true ?
It was not an intelligence report. It was paid-for opposition research by a reportedly ex-Brit MI6 operative. His group is completely sleazy and probably rips off customers (in this case Republican neverTrumpers and/or Dem operatives for Clinton) by their shoddy work. Who knows? Maybe it is a false flag operation."
McCain admitted he gave it to the FBI not CNN.
I agree.
And you would be surprised if it were the CIA or others in the Obama administration that leaked it?
BTW, the "dossier" was leaked to many media outlets months ago.
What is new is that the IC leaked to CNN and others that the dossier was in the classified Trump briefing. That is why CNN decided to start reporting on the dossier's existence.
No. I would also not be at all surprised if it was all of the above.
