I no longer shake hands...unless Im sealing a deal...havent been sick since I stopped...gets weird responses from people, but I tell them Ill give them a hug, or bump elbows..and offer one or the other. Handshaking is OVERDONE...Before the 70s, people used to wear gloves in public. Especially women.

Yes...I have often thought if that....I have some of my grandmother’s gloves...I suppose they would look better than surgical gloves!

Before the 70s, people used to wear gloves in public. Especially women. On occasion, yes, but not on a daily basis. It was fashionable for women to wear gloves to church, or out to dinner, and everyone wore gloves in winter, but that was about it.
