He does not want to appearance of impropriety, as in the case of SoState Clinton/Candidate Clinton and the growth of wealth in the Clinton Foundation.

I would think it’s to “clean the slate” Obviously Trump wants to avoid ANY & ALL appearance that the 30 existing deals were influenced & profited by Trump being POTUS. It seems, in light of all his actions taken, he’s accomplished that. Quite amaxing.
