Dixie Chicks were/are aiming for a country fan base. Meryl Streep is not. No comparison.
Valid point. But to take it even further, she’s at the sunset of her career, so she really doesn’t give a sh**, if she’s anything like me.
We own a lot of her movies (haven’t had TV since 1997, so we see a lot of DVD’s and Blue Rays). She’s really not appealing to us any more. Kinda like what happened to Streisand with us a couple of decades ago. Her politics ruined her movies for us.
