The Dairy Queen owner shouting the n-word at Deianeira Ford told her he could say whatever he wanted at his fast-food restaurant that any accusations and complaints she uttered would fall on deaf ears.
Ford was vindicated two days later, when her Facebook post about the incident provoked outrage so strong that the Dairy Queen in Zion, Ill., didnt open for business.
But her victory was tempered by something even more troubling that she heard at a protest: Although she was the most vocal victim of the owners racism, she was not the first.

Thanks.
Good post.
Does the franchise agreement read that corporate can yank your franchise for what ever reason?
Hilarious to watch the stupids act like the N word carries the seriousness of say child molestation
He said the word “nigger”
Take his business by God
The horror
And this is the right wing
Color me unimpressed
Any of y’all been around American blacks in large numbers
And listen to them speak to one another?
Your cousins boyfriend ...,the one black in your town .,,who of course acts just like Ben Carson does not count
Sorry
FREEPERS are so incredibly ignurnt about the black race
It’s laughable over and over
**...he did drop the N-Word on the woman**
As a common matter of daily life....what it the normal greeting for a black greeting a black? Hypocrites.
This DQ owner must be a non-B.
Most franchise agreements would have some sort of conduct clause, because they don’t want a business to close because of boycotts or have their reputation damaged because of an operator.
I just wonder if there is more to the story.
There always is.
Two questions:
1) Why does it take so long to get a burger and it’s usually cold?
2) Why are some DQs not allowed to sell hamburgers?
The flames of the next revolution have begu to . break through the establishments’s “politically correct” firewall. I myself have not filed taxes in 5 years because I do not care to feed the beast that is planning to tax, marginalized, imprison, and h consume me. Why is it that that every effeminate male d-bag that I see has the compulsion to grow a beard? Is it compensation for being emasculated 24x7x365 while they were growing up? This desperate quest for manhood might explain extreme sports, the truest expression of repressed masculinity expressed as a combo of in-your-face-masculinity and death wish.
They all think it’s terrific the business was closed. This makes sense?
One of our pro football players had an instagram post of himself. He titled it something like “Young rich and ...” Shows him decked out in his bling and fur coat and driving his Rolls Royce. The music playing in the backround from the stereo was rap, with the word “niggah” in there several times and obvious.
An aside - I recall years ago when my son was in middle school - “Its okay to say “niggah” - with the “ah” at the end, that’s like friendly dad. “Nigger” is the bad word.”
I told him, regardless, he better not use EITHER word (he’s white).
“He excercised is 1st amendment right ?”
That’s right.
He exercised his 1st amendment right and neither the police or anyone else in the government arrested him for expressing himself.
Unfortunately for him, the First Amendment does not extend to his franchise agreement.
Part of the answer for your noted difference in black culture from 50 years ago.
From the web:
“Economics professor Walter E. Williams writes: “According to the 1938 Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences, that year 11 percent of black children and 3 percent of white children were born to unwed mothers.”
In mid-1960s America, the nation’s out-of-wedlock birth rate (which stood at 7.7 percent at the time) began a rapid and relentless climb across all demographic lines, a climb that would continue unabated until 1994, when the Welfare Reform Act helped put the brakes on that trend.
Today the overall American illegitimacy rate is about 40.7 percent (29.1 percent for non-Hispanic whites). For blacks, it is about 72 percentapproximately three times the level of black illegitimacy that existed when the War on Poverty began in 1964.”
#### ‘em. You’re right.
The election’s over so let them print all this bull#### as much as they want.
Come Jan 20, the rules change.
Think deeply on this, my friend, because it may be that YOU are an actual racist, lacking only a 6 hour jam session to make you realize it.
No, it doesn’t. But something tells me the man did not call her that just for the heck of it. Must have been provoked.
“Deianeira” ???
I’m surprised he didn’t burst out laughing instead of going off on a racist tirade.
presicely.
Taught 23 years in the ‘hood. If I ever used the word to one of the urchins...I’d be toast. Try as I might to *forbid* the word in my classroom...it was a losing battle.
Got called *cracker* plenty of times. LOL
This is an interpretation of the sequence and the facts.
