Doesn’t it say in the Bible: ‘ Hate the father, destroy the child.’ ?

Numbers don’t lie. Fatherless children are more likely to do badly in school, do drugs, drop out before graduation, have trouble with the law, bear children out of wedlock, etc.

WHY on earth would a sane woman want to stack the deck against her child?

NO the bible does not say that.

The bible does say that if you spare the rod, fail to discipline a child, you spoil him/her, or allow them to be self-centered and selfish.

There is another reason for this. Children who encounter trauma early in their life (trauma as perceived from the limited perceptions of a child) tend to shift prematurely from their emotional consciousness to a logical consciousness. This is what creates the 7 year old going on 35 who has a premature sense of self way beyond their age.

Early elementary school is taught emotionally, not logically until third grade (roughly age 7 to 8) when long division and multiplication is introduced. A child who shifts prematurely, such as the case of autism or Asperger’s Syndrome, has a difficult time as the emotional stimulus does not math their consciousness learning ability.

They use the intellect as an escape from emotional pain.
