it was onyx and she DID move back.
I have never been there but everyone who has visited or lives there just goes on and on about how great it is.
Now affordable? Guess it depends on how well heeled you are. I guess I could afford a post office box, but that is about all@

You’re so right - incredibly expensive.
We sold our home (retirement investment) and moved to Maine, across the road from our grandbaby, and were able to build a cozy bungalow.
Land and property here is incredlibly less than SD, but O the Snow!
