President-elect Donald Trump on Friday called for lawmakers to investigate U.S. intelligence leaks to NBC about information on Russian interference in the presidential election.
“I am asking the chairs of the House and Senate committees to investigate top secret intelligence shared with NBC prior to me seeing it,” Trump tweeted Friday.
The NBC report cited “a senior U.S. intelligence official with direct knowledge” of the intel report that was delivered to President Obama on Thursday and is scheduled to be delivered to Trump on Friday.
"Highly classified intercepts illustrate Russian government planning and direction of a multifaceted campaign by Moscow to undermine the integrity of the American political system," NBC quotes the source saying.

Thanks for the update. Comcast has no substantive government contracts that I am aware of.
But they are sensitive to the market and to trends in streaming internet services.
To me, cable programming is dying and should be all but gone in five or so years. I have no programming in my home, just streaming over high-speed internet. And this is the trend.
I can see no reason why it would be popular to stream NBC news into homes. There are two many alternatives to choose from for news.
the only way its illegal is if they acquired it through illegal means...if it was given to them they can do what they want with it...the leaker on the other hand could be in a creek...

If this is true two things:
1. Russia admits the report is true.
2. More importantly it would mean they actually helped Obama and if that is true Trump must figure out a way beyond tweets to get it out there in a big way.
MSM has been successful in getting the notion “the Russians fixed the election” out there without having touch what was actually in the e-mails etc. I was inclined to be in the let the story die camp but I think Trump is going to have come at these bastards hard. Linda & McTraitior have to be neutered and there is more “illegitimate Preisdent” talk. Even the fool ex Pres of Mexico is out there tweeting it.

Agreed...we watch food network and QVC (David Venable) My wife and I are foodies and it is a great hobby, the rest of programming except for the Packers, the CUBS, TCM, INDYCAR and NASCAR I couldn’t care less about.
