Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) let slip a terrifying reality when it comes to the power of our nation's president over "executive branch" agencies like the CIA. In an interview Tuesday with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Schumer said President-elect Donald Trump is "being really dumb" by taking on the intelligence community because if he does "they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you."
Just let that soak in for a minute.
One of the most powerful senators just admitted that it is "stupid" for a president to oppose the intelligence community, which he is in charge of, because it will "[get] back at you."
Maddow, perhaps realizing the gravity of what he just said, questioned Schumer further asking skeptically: "what do you think the intelligence community would do, if they were motivated to?"
"I don't know... but from what I am told, they are VERY upset with how he has treated them and talked about them...," Schumer said.

Apparently Sen. Schumer doesn’t realize that making the Director of the CIA look bad is different than making the CIA look bad, which is what Brennan is already doing...
We just have one - budget cutting.
Who cares what Putin did or didn’t do - he’s never going to see the inside of a US courtroom as a defendant.
If Democrats don’t want their dirty secrets exposed, they should clean up their acts - not blame the Russians for finding even more easy pickings after Hillary’s stint at the State Department.
One thing about a POTUS Trump: Since NOBODY expected him to win it is unlikely anybody has built a dossier on him to use as leverage.
This tells us just how political the CIA has become, how in bed with the Dems and GOP Elites the CIA has become. Chuck Schumer just spelled it out for us.
CIA has two major contingents: the ex-military operators who all voted for President Trump and love him, and the blend-with-the-State-Department liberal metrosexuals who have a globalist view and voted for Hillary. I doubt that President Trump alienated anyone who matters when he rejected the politicized accusations from members of that second group.
I wonder how long it will take for the director of the CIA to angrily resent Shmuckies implication...
I suspect there will be a leadership change and attitude change at the CIA.
On January 20 Trump will have a pen and a phone.
I suggest Control take over. They have the cone of silence.
Trump has ways to stop the CIA as well—People can be investigated, put in Jail, The CIA could be defunded and a new organization put in its Place—OSS?
Yeah, Obama’s CIA (the Democrat one) is such a problem. Obama used it as a weapon. (Benghazi video anyone?). But the Trump CIA will be working for him ... there are going to be some heads rolling over there after the 20th. We are going to make the CIA great again too!
Drain the swamp. Kill the clowns.
Yes, but soon Trump can unleash the IRS on them.
Never mind.

Schumer should resign or be removed for such a statement.
Truman founded the CIA!
Shortly, after JFK was killed, he wanted to limit the CIA to Intel collection.
HST founded the CIA, and he realized his creation had become something he didn’t want and became what/why he ended the OSS after WWII was over.
HST wrote this shortly after JFK was killed:
Harry Truman Writes:
Limit CIA Role (To Intelligence collection)
By Harry S Truman, INDEPENDENCE, MO., Dec. 21 1963

As we have learned during the campaign, six ways from Sunday, is not enough ways to actually get Trump.
Or make it gone.
We don't need the CIA.
We have the AIA, the BIA, the CIA, the DIA, the EIA, the FIA, the FBI, the NSA, Doris Day, and all them other letters.
