Yes, it is. Not sure if he thought that one through.

Looks like the battle for NY power is gonna get nasty, but we need to shove and distract and engage the RATS while they’re trying to shiv each other over control of their party: they will continue making mistakes such as this one.

"The United States Intelligence Community (IC) is a federation of 16 separate United States government agencies that work separately and together to conduct intelligence activities considered necessary for the conduct of foreign relations and national security of the United States. Member organizations of the IC include intelligence agencies, military intelligence, and civilian intelligence and analysis offices within federal executive departments. The IC is headed by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), who reports to the President of the United States.

Among their varied responsibilities, the members of the Community collect and produce foreign and domestic intelligence, contribute to military planning, and perform espionage. The IC was established by Executive Order 12333, signed on December 4, 1981, by U.S. President Ronald Reagan.[1]

The Washington Post reported in 2010 that there were 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies in 10,000 locations in the United States that are working on counterterrorism, homeland security, and intelligence, and that the intelligence community as a whole includes 854,000 people holding top-secret clearances.[2] According to a 2008 study by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, private contractors make up 29% of the workforce in the U.S. intelligence community and account for 49% of their personnel budgets.[3]"

Seems Chuckie Schumer has some things he doesn’t want Trump to find. He sure is barking a lot lately.

Would the CIA lie to Americans about the past election?

Lying and deceit are the agency’s most important job skills!

An unintelligent thing to do.

Sounds like a threat? It is a threat. And from a senate minority leader.

He’s not answering his phone in DC but his local offices are answering. They claim they know nothing about it. I told them that if there are any attempts to attack the president-elect that their senator will be viewed as responsible.

If you want to call any of their local offices - it’s fun - here are the numbers:

Exactly; the intel community is a master at playing the leak game, but they can’t match Trump and his Twitter account. Plus, as commander-in-chief, he has full declassification authority for any material he reviews. If Trump finds something he believes is inaccurate or duplicitous, he can simply release.

As an intel officer for more than 20 years, the thought of arbitrary declassification is a bit scary. But Trump is nobody’s fool and the IC will discover that their patented strategy of carefully-timed leaks can’t match the POTUS and his “beautiful” Twitter account.

Truman founded the CIA! Later after JFK was killed, he wanted to limit the CIA to Intel collection.

HST founded the CIA, and he realized his creation had become something he didn’t want and became what/why he ended the OSS after WWII was over.

HST wrote this shortly after JFK was killed,
Harry Truman Writes:
Limit CIA Role (To Intelligence collection)

By Harry S Truman, INDEPENDENCE, MO., Dec. 21 1963

Is it past time for President Trump in 2017 to end the CIA?

President Truman did not trust the OSS and its increasing power.

At the end of WWII, he signed an ExO ending the OSS.

September 20, 1945, President Truman signed Executive Order 9621, terminating the OSS. His Order became effective October 1, 1945. In the days following, the functions of the OSS were split between the Department of State and the Department of War.

The State Department received the Research and Analysis Branch of OSS (originally created by Edward Mead Earle[28]) which was renamed the Interim Research and Intelligence Service or IRIS,[29] headed by U.S. Army Colonel Alfred McCormack. Later it was renamed the Bureau of Intelligence and Research by the State
Department.

who the *&^% does chuckie thing the ‘intelligence community’ will be working for in a couple weeks. what a putz

I have absolutely zero doubt that many of the "striped pants boys" (as Harry Truman called them) at the State Department will absolutely work overtime to undermine Trump. And we saw that the IRS was weapononized by staffing it up with dedicated leftists who abused their power to punish political enemies of Obama. And already the EPA has refused to answer questions Trump has asked it regarding climate change advocacy within the department.

I don't see why other government agencies shouldn't be expected to have been similarly stacked by the left to advance their purposes and undermine those of their opponents (and I don't mean ISIS or real enemies of America. I mean republicans, whom leftists hate far more than ISIS or anyone else).

The very first thing DJT needs to do is de-weaponize the departments that aren’t justice or defense or border related.

EPA/IRS has shotguns and pistols all of a sudden? Why?

Because Obama said he was building his own off-the-books civilian military.
