He added: “The tweets unnerve me. I see how you can use that to go around and over the traditional media and how many people get his tweets. But it unnerves me because I’m kind of old school. I don’t put anything in writing that I don’t know who is going to see it.”
Lott said Washington tended to get much more done when people weren’t embarrassed. “I prefer to communicate with a wink and nod,” Lott continued. “I am an advocate of smoke-filled back rooms — I was very much an advocate over the years, the old conference committee meetings. That’s where I used to tell my colleagues, ‘We’ll fix it there.’”

Looking forward to Judge Jeanine’s show tonight (I’m assuming it will be on).
FNC announced yesterday or today that Jesse Watters will have a weekly Saturday show, starting tonight. I think it does a great job - while he’s had shows, sounds like now weekly ones are a done deal :-) When they were on, they were on the hour just before the Judge’s.
Curt Schilling may run against her. Hard to beat a Dim in MA, but maybe he could.

One comment in the article was that the Obamas would likely pay for it themselves - yeah, right, sure they will (I highly doubt it).

If you get the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel - there’s a Murder She Wrote marathon on all day tonight - wrap yourself up in fleece or an afghan and lay on the sofa watching TV - maybe that will help. Spaghetti/pasta often makes me sleepy. Hope you get some good rest today!
