German Chancellor Angela Merkel's personal approval ratings have climbed following last week's terrorist attack on a Berlin Christmas market, a poll shows.

Support for her conservatives hitting a one-year high, the poll released on Wednesday by Berlin-based pollsters Forsa showed.

Support for Merkel's Christian Democrats (CDU) and their Bavarian-based allies, the Christian Social Union (CSU), rose 2 percentage points over the last week to reach 38 per cent.

EXCERPT---- The German Federal Ministry for the Environment has denied that Merkel's govt donation to the Clinton Foundation was linked to Hillary's election.

The Ministry confirmed the transaction took place and insisted the money was to provide "financing under the International Climate Protection Initiative (ICI)".

The ministry also claimed the public funds served to "support forestry and landscape renaturation in East Africa". German taxpayers are also funding Clinton Foundation projects that involve the "restoration of forest ecosystems" in India, Kenya, El Salvador, Mexico, Vietnam, Uganda and Peru – according to reports. It's hilarious to me how these authoritarian socialist Regimes (like Germany) can even pretend to report on public opinion of their leaders.

Why? Because a German citizen engaging in free speech on state-designated taboo subjects such as Muslim Immigration is a jailable offense.

I mean, who are these Tyrants trying to kid?

There's no such thing as Free Speech in Europe.

Is the European Mind, so submissive to the Collective, so utterly suffused in Marxism, really that far gone?

Are individual citizens of EU nations really that unaware?

Do they really not understand that their governments can neither grant nor rescind inalienable Rights?

God, I'm so thankful that I grew up in the USA, with its glowing embers of Freedom, and not in Europe or anywhere else.
