If not for this past Monday night's highly watched NFL game, The Walt Disney Co's ESPN network would have had its smallest audience for "Monday Night Football" in 2016 since the 2006 season.
[Snip]
This year marks the third consecutive year that ESPN's "Monday Night Football" audience has declined, and the fifth decline in the past six years.
The NFL ratings downturn was most notable in primetime. ESPN was among the hardest hit, with viewership falling nearly 12 percent from last season, according to the Nielsen data.

Of course this has nothing to do with the scumbags taking a knee - why ALL the POLLS tell us THAT!
I cut my cord with a new Roku 3 for Christmas. I ordered KlowdTv for $7.99 and I get OAN now and I might have a little crush on Liz Wheeler. Bye Bye fascist ESPN.
My three reasons to dump the NFL
1. Bob Costas’ anti-gun screed.
2. Richard Sherman’s thuggish disrespect of his opponent after WINNING.
3. Kaepernick disrespect of anthem...Final straw.
I agree, except, I have to say, Ga Ga knocked it out of the park with her rendition of the National Anthem.
Many years ago Monday Night Football was a big bar thing; they’d put out free food and make it all back in beer. As they started later and stretched out the game, people started leaving at half-time, then end of 1st quarter...then they stopped coming.
Not only that, but have you seen some of the shows and “personalities” that pass as sports news on these channels? I’m looking at you, “First Take” and “His & Hers.” We used to watch Mike & Mike religiously every single morning. Then Mike Greenburg became so insufferable we haven’t turned it on in quite some time.
that's where I am. I used to watch a LOT of football (since neither me nor my family is into any other sport except during the finals MAYBE). But now I will watch my team and that's about it. The game has changed for me in that there seems to be no loyalty. Everyone is in it for themselves...even at the collegiate level. NFL players will go where they can get paid the most...and college players will go play for whoever can get them to the next level. I also don't like the arrogance and thuggery shown on the field...the constant mouthing. It turns me off. So...I've turned it off.
Would have been the worst except for Dallas/Detroit.
NFL: Negros, Felons, and Liberals. No one else accepted.
