Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes will sue President Barack Obama for designating over 1.6 million acres as national monument land, he said Wednesday, according to The Hill.
Obama designated land in Utah and Nevada, including the Bears Ears area in southeastern Utah, as national monuments, which would protect two areas that are rich in Native American artifacts from mining, oil and gas drilling.

Rumor here in Utah is Mike Lee will be appointed to the Supreme Court...his brother Thomas is our Utah Supreme Court Judge and a mighty fine one at that...just hope if this is true, little Lee will follow as good as his Brother has...

If you remember on the Convention Floor the night that it was announced all 40 delegates were for Trump, Mike Lee and James Evan had their little say...
But if you look at Mike Lee’s record in the Senate he has stayed with the Constitution...I think most of this was RAT Romney and both of them being Mormons...they do stick together...unfortunately...

You are bringing up some memories for me. My wife and I backpacked into Grand Gulch to see ruins and hiked up Mule Creek to see other ruins. My son and I hiked up a different branch of Mule Creek and climbed up one side of the canyon wall and hiked over the high ground between branches of Mule Creek to oversee the other branch. Mule Creek and Grand Gulch are in the new park and were previously in BLM land. Much of the new park consists of BLM land.
