It is that. The whole state is beautiful.

You are bringing up some memories for me. My wife and I backpacked into Grand Gulch to see ruins and hiked up Mule Creek to see other ruins. My son and I hiked up a different branch of Mule Creek and climbed up one side of the canyon wall and hiked over the high ground between branches of Mule Creek to oversee the other branch. Mule Creek and Grand Gulch are in the new park and were previously in BLM land. Much of the new park consists of BLM land.

Oh bull shite. There are old sites everywhere out here. The good ones are already in monuments.

They made that national monument so they couldn’t drill for natural gas.

Probably in exchange for some money from their Saudi masters.
