The Obama administration struck back at Russia... for its efforts to influence the 2016 election, ejecting 35 Russian intelligence operatives from the United States and imposing sanctions on Russia’s two leading intelligence services, including four top officers of the military intelligence unit the White House believes ordered the attacks on the Democratic National Committee and other political organizations.
In a sweeping set of announcements, the United States was also expected to release evidence linking the cyberattacks to computer systems used by Russian intelligence. Taken together, the actions would amount to the strongest American response ever taken to a state-sponsored cyberattack aimed at the United States.
The sanctions were also intended to box in President-elect Trump. Mr. Trump has consistently cast doubt that the Russian government had anything to do with the hacking of the D.N.C. or other political institutions, saying American intelligence agencies could not be trusted and suggesting that the hacking could have been the work of a “400-pound guy” lying in his bed.
Mr. Trump will now have to decide whether to lift the sanctions on the Russian intelligence agencies when he takes office next month, with Republicans in Congress among those calling for a public investigation into Russia’s actions. Should Mr. Trump do so, it would require him to effectively reject the findings of his intelligence agencies.
Asked... at his Mar-a-Lago estate ... about reports of the impending sanctions, Mr. Trump said: “I think we ought to get on with our lives. I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly. The whole age of computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what is going on. We have speed, we have a lot of other things, but I’m not sure we have the kind, the security we need.”

In the 1920's through the 1950's, the media lied by ommision. In the 1960's through the 1980's, they became slanted. In the 1990's they became very biased. In the 2000's, they chose sides and began advocacy. Now, in the 2010's, they lie outright.

If foreign intelligence services directed hacks into US government, corporate, political party or private computers or systems with the intent to influence the election I want to know about it. I also want to see the forensic evidence that such claims are based on.
You better believe if the Russians did hack the DNC they hacked, or at least tried to, the RNC as well.
If they did this, and the allegations are there supported by US intelligence agencies, and you think for one second they didn’t find things they will use at the appropriate time to influence republican politicians you are either naïve or something else.
Cyber security needs to be a top concern for our government and all those who work in and for it. That’s part of the goddamn reason the whole private server thing with Hillary was wrong and need to be investigated.

I read your post and comprehended its entirety. I chose - cherry picked what has been a huge issue: voter fraud perpetuated and allowed by democrat political operatives to win elections.
No election interference is acceptable- foreign or domestic.

We have the means to track, prove and eliminate millions of illegal votes that have zero to do with Russia and everything to do with Mexico and other Central American countries.

Concerning voter fraud I have not seen credible evidence that it numbers in the millions, not even from The Heritage Foundation.

None of which is evidenced from russian hacking of the dnc- so how exactly did the russians ‘influence’ our elections? They certainly didn’t come over here and stuff the ballot boxes, put forth fictitious names, bus in illegal aliens to vote etc etc-
Where is the evidence that they ‘influenced the election in Trump’s favor’? It’s funny that we’re all up in arms about the DNC being hacked- and all of a sudden have to get ot the bottom of it but where’s the evidence that any of the hacks swayed the election one way or the other? Exactly- If anything- the DNC were the ones illegally influencing and swaying elections- not the russians- Hell- they even had black panthers intimidating voters in places- while not rampant- it shows the damned hypocrisy of hte left wringing their hands over the fact that the DNC got hacked- then making the incredible unrealistic leap to ‘Russia influenced the election in trumps’ favor’

The Russians forced the SoE to open 180,000 absentee ballots a week prior to the election in order to invalidate those (R) votes in Florida.
The Russians forced North Carolina, New York and nine other states to provide DL’s for aliens in time for the elections enabling them to vote.

The whole prob,em with hte meme of ‘Russia hacke the DNC and influenced the elections in trump’s favor’ is that now every election the democrats lose will result in the same ridiculous claims- much wasted money, much unnecessary reactions etc- Every republican elected will have his or her election impugned, and the left will scream ‘illegitimate president’ from here on out- All because the russians read seem emails? Based on your standard of show me the evidence, show me the evidence of massive voter fraud. I have not seen actual hard evidence beyond speculation that there has been massive voter fraud in this election or in the past.
I personally find any tampering with the election results by any means be they foreign or domestic to be completely unacceptable and worthy of investigation and prosecution.
If the standard is proof voter fraud needs to be proven
