But how will these ‘diplomats’ afford NYC apartments, private schools for their kids and immunity from parking tickets?

The dirty little secret is they don’t want to live in their third world hellholes either.

And speaking of dirty - have you seen the short, sweaty creeps leering at their so-called goodwill ambassadors like Natalie Portman?

The UN was a leftist wet dream that was never intended as an international forum to debate and solve problems between nations and thereby averting future wars but as a vehicle for the control of the masses by the global elites.

Out as soon as possible.

Why the socialists in American government continue to idolize the evil, anti-American UN is one of the mysteries yet unsolved.

The answer has to be that those who continue to gush over the UN are in sync with its goals: New World Order. That is the darling of the Bush dynasty and the Clintons, the Carters and the foreigner who has habituated the White Hut for the past eight dismal years of failure and deceit: Barry Soetoro.

The John Birch Society has been right over these past decades. The UN is as anti-American as it can get. The organization rejoices when US statistics are read that detail the extreme decline of anything that was wholesome about America and its society.

Get out now. Evict the evildoers made wealthy by U. S. monetary contributions.

Without disagreeing at all that the UN, as a general rule, is totally incompetent and corrupt, there is a measure of value in remaining a member - in the same way that maintaining a veto in any wacko organization has value. Being able to simply say "No" is a good thing. Please understand that two other issues should be separately considered.

1. Financial support. Not one more penny until everyone else gets caught up on proportional support. That should take at least ten years.

2. Headquarters location. Declare the NY site to be condemned for public use and recommend that Switzerland is lovely this time of year. The over-bloated staffs can go practice their skiing. Or they could all march off to some tropical location completely taken over by disease and THEN show their compassion by actually solving some health problems.

Just a couple of thoughts.

I’d say stay in the UN, just stop funding it.
Rub their noses in it
Lather, rinse, repeat

Get the U.S. Out of the UN.
Get the UN out of the U.S.

It can relocate to Allepo.

The idea of the U.N. was invented during the Second World War...

Not true. It was destined to replace Democrat Woodrow Wilson's failed "League of Nations"

This UN has failed and must be disbanded before it does any more damage. Its replacement is going to take some time to put together. No rush. There’s no real need for a UN anyway.

I agree with the author 100%. The U.N. has been a joke from the get-go. The USA gets nothing out of it. People from Third World hell-holes and communist dictatorships do not have the same interests that we do. Even if the headquarters were moved, I do not think it is worth the expense to taxpayers to send an ambassador and his entourage to wherever they put it.

The only thing that is "united" at the United Nations is hatred/resentment of the USA.

On the contrary, the UN has worked well for the communists, socialists and assorted one-worlders who founded this monstrosity. There’s only one way to improve the UN: destroy it by America leaving it and kicking it out of the country.

In the “I'll bet you don't know” department, the UN actually has FOUR operating headquarters. They (in no particular order): 1) NYC, 2) Brussels, Belgium, 3) Geneva, Switzerland, and 4) Nairobi, Kenya. I say evict them and they can deport themselves to the city of their choice. The U.S. leaves the UN and cuts of its financial life support of $33 billion. The UN headquarters needs major repairs and probably should be condemned. Tear it down and make it a park or parking lot or build apartments on the land.

The UN was borne of the ashes of the League of Nations. Its DNA is vile and corrupt, passing from one failed body to the next.

The “security” council is more rightly an “insecurity” council, peopled by nations who harbor malicious intent towards these United States and the State of Israel.

No good has come of the UN, nor the EU for that matter.
