The Jewish vote is extremely important for Democrats in New York. Schumer will never agree with condemning Israel. To do so would be for him to make his current term in the Senate his last.
On the bright side, Horse face and Obama are screwing the Democrats. Schumer is right here.
The Jewish voters in New York, however, are divided between those that love Israel and would like to live there, and those that are ambivalent at best and a little embarrassed by Israel, and those that hate Israel as much as Obama and Kerry.
Any vote that empowers Democrats is a vote to condemn Israel.
Will New York Jews who vote Dem ever figure it out?
For reasons I'll never understand, most Jewish people (certainly not all, but most) politically range from just left of center all the way to outright communist. So I doubt the Democrats have anything to worry about.
Karl Marx was a non-practicing Jew who denied his own Jewish heritage, and we see in our time a wide range of Jewish Americans who are rabidly pro Left.
I don't mean this in any way as a slur against Jewish people, but only a statement of fact. To me it's a strange phenomenon that so many Jewish people seem to prefer Marxist statism rather than a more decentralized solution to government such as is establish in our Constitution. Yet National Socialism (i.e., Nazi) and Soviet communism destroyed the lives of more Jewish people than any other form of government ever devised. Perplexing.
