I remember a young Debbie Reynolds... she was so pretty, cute, on fire and cool... Todd Fisher was named after Mike Todd, Elizabeth’s husband, who died in a private plane crash. Eddie Fisher spent a lot of time with Mike Todd and when he was killed, Eddie ‘took care of Elizabeth’, divorced Debbie and married Elizabeth. Elizabeth usually got what she wanted but the marriage didn’t last too long. Eddie Fisher took a lot of flak over all that.. as Debbie was the darling of the movies and how dare he do that to Debbie.. Elizabeth almost lost her audience over taking Debbie’s husband. Then Elizabeth met and married Richard Burton.
