Each person grieves in their own way. I know after my daughter died, my husband played golf a few days later. I broke down completely. I called my long time dr and he prescribed some Valium. We never ever get completely over that. Jesus is the only answer. Then, right before he died of liver cancer, we were going to clean out her bedroom so we could make it more comfortable for him with his tv, surround sound, etc. He liked watching golf and listening to music. I broke down again. It just seemed unreal. He did not live long enough to enjoy it. We never, ever know what tomorrow brings. God bless.

Good Lord!!
I’ve got some problems but thank you for reminding me to keep the self pity at a far distance.
My heart hurts for you.

Oh, MamaB....I am so sorry to hear this.
My sister lost her ten year-old son to cancer and has never been the same. Nor has her family. She and her husband aren’t the same; their other son went from being a Grade A student to having problems with drugs. It’s just not the natural order of things.
My prayers are with you.
