DONALD Trump and Theresa May have vowed to make the special relationship between Britain and the US stronger than ever, Britains ambassador to Washington has revealed.
The President-elect and second British female Prime Minister have agreed over a series of phone calls to build on the legacy that President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher forged.
Sir Kim Darroch, praised the billionaires historic and impressive victory that was like no other in history and called leaders to embrace the future that lies ahead.

I hope this is what happens, but I still don’t get the feeing Ms May is fully supportive of the Brexit. She is still administratively ‘splashing about’ and trying various tactics to acquire then consolidate more power. I don’t see her throwing down with The Donald to fend off the Globalists.
Look how she treats Lafarge. Although that apparent friction may just be a clash of political egos between the two Brits.
I thought Theresa May was a liberal. Isn’t she in the Labour party?
No, she’s a Tory. But strikes me as a rank idiot and a liberal (I repeat myself). Hopefully I’ll be proven wrong

Britain voted yes on the anti-Israel UN resolution.
May is no Thatcher and though I’m certain that Trump will hold up his end, I doubt that she shall; sadly.
She’s a squish Tory; I don’t have much faith in her at all.
Thanks. I couldn't remember her party affiliation.
I do remember when she was elected PM, a lot of reports alluded to the fact that she's pretty liberal, and is probably ill suited to lead the country during their Brexit era.
From what I've read of her, you'll probably be proven right.
I've got pretty low expectations for her, and doubt she'll be the Thatcheresque counterpart to Trump that we'd like to see.
I hope that you and yours had a WONDERFUL and blessed Christmas, my friend! :-)
Thanks, old friend. Christmas at our house was wonderful.
Our kids are all healthy, strong, and doing well. The two eldest cast their first presidential votes for Trump, as well :-)
God has blessed me with a great wife and four great kids. All the rest is just icing on the cake.
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, as well!
We had a quiet Christmas, but it was a lovely one and we spent lots of time with the progeny and grand, on FACETIME and later, on the phone. Likewise, the adults voted for Trump and my grandson was all for him; even collecting buttons and a MAGA hat.
You and I did our job ( being parents and for me, grandparent ) well and our kiddos are/shall do the same.
Correct and enough said. This is just a fantasy story by a hopeful Tory newspaper.
A very important point and one I was going to make. Unfortunately I think Mrs May will turn out be a female version of David Cameron.
May ain’t no Thatcher. She’s squishy, like Bush was until Thaatcher propped him up. Maybe Trump can prop May up.
May???? Are you serious? She wouldn’t make a pimple on Maggie’s arse!
There may be a problem due to the fact that the Brits voted in agreement with the UN resolution to take land away from Israel and ban settlements. ...I’ve never understood why the British govt. has been so anti-Israel.
Why did Britain vote for the Anti Israel resolution at the UN if May is that good? Never would have happened under Thatcher.
