TURKEYs President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has claimed he has confirmed evidence US-led forces have supported ISIS.
Erdogan said its very clear the US is supporting terror groups in a damning press conference in Ankara.
He said: They were accusing us of supporting Daesh (Islamic State).
Now they give support to terrorist groups including Daesh, YPG, PYD. Its very clear. We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos and videos.
Casualties have mounted as the military tries to take the town of Al-Bab from ISIS jihadists and Ankara has become incresingly impatient over the lack of support from the US against the extremists for the Turkish operation.
At a news conference alongside visiting Guinean President Alpha Conde, Erdogan said:The coalition forces are unfortunately not keeping their promises.
Turkey has met the fiercest resistance yet of the campaign in the fight for Al-Bab, some 25 kilometres (15 miles) south of the Turkish border.
Erdogan complained that rather than supporting Turkey, the West was backing the Kurdish Peoples' Protection Units (YPG) and Democratic Union Party (PYD), who work with the United States on the ground in Syria, and also ISIS.
"They are supporting all the terror groups -- the YPG, PYD but also including Daesh (IS)," Erdogan said.
But the Turkish leader expressed confidence over the assault saying "we now have the Daesh terror group surrounded on four sides in Al-Bab".
"Yes we have martyrs... but now there's no turning back," he said.
Erdogan said that along with Russia, Turkey backed a plan to bring the parties in the conflict together with key powers for peace talks in the Kazakh capital Astana.
But he said that "terror groups" must not be included and that Turkey also wanted to see its Gulf allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar involved.

Probably Obama and Hillary did.
>>”Theyre trying to keep the US pitted against Russia”<<
Turkey can, so long as it is in NATO.
What a lying piece of crap this bastard is and the US won't drop him and recommend he be kicked out of NATO. He's a major problem just waiting to happen and his "just" shipping immigrant hordes to Europe isn't anywhere near the sort of problem he could cause.
Erdogan has never been interested in fighting ISIS, and neither has Obama. Erdogan ‘s interest begins and ends at genocide against the Kurds; Obama is actively supporting ISIS against the legitimate Syrian government.
We need to get out... There’s nothing there for the U.S.
>>”Erdogan has never been interested in fighting ISIS, and neither has Obama. Erdogan s interest begins and ends at genocide against the Kurds; Obama is actively supporting ISIS against the legitimate Syrian government.”<<
There are 2 main issues right now, imo:
1. Kurds and northern syria in particular. It really isn’t only Erdogan. The Turks, largely & generally, are very suspicious of the Kurds. It goes back to a very violent conflict & history between them. And, it isn’t just about PKK.
2. If Erdogan is removed or overthrown, by the US, and replaced with another Islamist (Gulen), while ISIS still exists and is ‘supported’, then we can safely assume that Erdogan is being scapegoated. Way I see it, at present, Erdogan is and has been a ‘middleman’ in ‘supporting’ ISIS, not the top-dog.
>>”Theres nothing there for the U.S.”<<
Superficially that’s true. But, the U.S. won’t shift out, because the view may well be that if the U.S. does, others (Russians, for example) will move in. So, it’s a battle for power & dominance in that (very strategic) region. Both the Kurds & Turkey (Erdogan too) are really pawns.
And bought their oil...God knows how much!!
Pot calling Kettle black would be an insult to pots and kettles in this situation.
I do too...However the pot is calling the kettle black.
If he is right we need TREASON inquiry in the Senate! I never trust a moslem but you have to remember obama’s berth and raising. This is very distressing news.
Elect a new President of the United States. That will do it. I expect Trump will handle this rather quickly.
From what I recall, it was an emissary of Turkey that was in Benghazi for a meeting right before Chris Stevens et al were murdered. They were involved with moving Libyan weapons to Syria way back then.
What? This is some kind of news? Conservatives have been saying this for the past 6 years. Oh, right, we’re dismissed as being whackos and the guy who’s trying to build a new Muslim nation is of course sane.
FRiend, I posted before I scrolled down to read your answer.
Praise God we will have a new Commander in Chief who believes in peace through strength, has sound judgment and is NOT a tool for the devil.
Treason on behalf of the Obama government. Plain and simple.
“(Obama not finished yet. Obama wants war. Clearly)”
The circumstantial evidence points to Obama’s CIA/Gulen organization murder of Russia’s Ambassador ..... (shades of the opening days of WWI)
Pot. Kettle. Black.
“From what I recall, it was an emissary of Turkey that was in Benghazi for a meeting right before Chris Stevens et al were murdered. They were involved with moving Libyan weapons to Syria way back then.”
BINGO......US was been supplying al Qaeda/ISIS with high tech weaponry through Turkey & Ambassador Stevens had a problem with it! Hillary had him murdered by proxy .....using ‘the good al Qaeda’ as compound security....
TREASON
yes.
It goes back even further. To the days of the Taliban and Pakistan in Afghanistan.
There is no other peace but through strength.
There will always be very bad men.
We (men) good ones aren’t angels, but God doesn’t ask us to be. That job’s already taken :)
Yeah, obvious for a long time now.
