The prospective class of Democrats who could run for president in 2020 is shaping up as an "old-folks home," according to retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).
Reid made the remark earlier this month when asked by an aide whether he might support a White House run by Vice President Biden, according to New York Magazine.
In response to the question, Reid mentioned the age of several prominent Democrats who are talked about as likely candidates in 2020.

Just like 25 percent of their voters.
Las Vegans or Lost Vegans?
One of the benefits of the Trump administration will be that new, powerful, accomplished faces will be presented to the American people. New faces that, generally, are Republican.
These folks, I expect, will deliver a tremendous shot to the status quo and will appear as accomplished, knowledgeable grownups who desire to see the USA regain its luster, glory, power and prestige.
And citizens of the US will be introduced to them. And over the next several administrations, I expect we’ll see some of them at the top of the ticket.
Sarah Palin was a spark plug for lots of folks. But she was just one person and it was hard to stand up against the onslaught with a spineless so-and-so like McCain in her corner.
With Trump and administration FILLED with hosses, I expect there will be a long-lasting reputation change and lots of new, fresh, accomplished individuals to go up against the old folks of the Democrat party.
As of now, the Dems have no bench. And with Trump and republicans owning so much of federal, state and local governments, I don’t see how the Dems will develop much of a new reputation.
OMG!! Lightning just struck and the altar veil is riven. Dingy Harry just spoke the truth for the first time in his miserable, corrupt career.
It would take 60 seats in the Senate for the Republicans to be at the wheel. And even then, the Republicans and President Trump are not one and the same.In 2018 the Republicans must recruit and support strong candidates to oppose the 25 incumbent Democrats up for reelection. Ten of those from states Trump won. Doesnt make it a cakewalk to beat them, but . . .
If the Republicans cant gain serious ground in 2018, when half the Senate Democrats (plus one) face re-election, how are they to retain control of the Senate in 20 and 22 when the Democrats only have to defend about a dozen seats and the Republicans have to defend 21?
Booker’s degrees mean nothing. Just more affirmative action, like Julian Castro.
Leftoid nursing home.
DANG!
