but he utterly disgraced himself in 2016 Just think, the man I consider the wisest man in America whose thoughts I have access to disagree with my choice for president. The man whose views I would seek above all others made a mistake. The man I refer to as a National Treasure has a flaw.
I put that altogether and decided to vote for Donald Trump without diminished my respect for Dr. Thomas Sowell.

Yes, and a serious mistake it was. His reputation for truth and insight were sacrificed in the GOPe's attempt to maintain their grip on power. The man was much too smart to have believed that the GOPe lies about Trump were anything but lies and yet he used his considerable intellect to support them.
He could have retired two years ago with his cover still intact, but he held on too long and enlisted in one too many battles. His true colors were revealed - he was just another political tool that drew his pay from our would-be masters.
