The family has travelled to White House South for the holidays but DJT continues to work in addition to have some family time and get in a round of golf with Tiger Woods. Maybe a few more announcements this week but we ll expect to see amazing things to come down after the New Year, leading up to Inaugural

Also, I did watch some of the “Rocking New Year’s Eve” party last night - only in time to see Mariah Carey’s awful performance. She had some kind of microphone problem, I think. Does anybody have the scoop on what happened?

I didn’t see Mariah last night. I used to love Dick Clark’s Rocking in NYE when he was alive.
They were talking on F&F yesterday that she didn’t know the exact time the ball fell in Times Square and that a hotel room was rented for her close to Times Square so she could get ready (have her make-up and hair stylists, etc. there) and wouldn’t be late (she lives in NYC, but apparently was concerned about getting through traffic, etc.).
I did see clips on F&F this a.m. Apparently there were mic problems but they said whomever set up the CD (she was supposed to be lip syncing is what I heard), set up the wrong track. As they mentioned, even if it was the wrong track, it was one of her famous songs and she should have been able to lip sync it. It seemed to be a very embarrassing situation for her, especially with all the pre hype, etc.

Thanks so much for your kind responses. Mom got out of the hospital on New Year’s Eve and is doing super great with some meds adjustments. Bro is on his painkillers with a specialist appt coming up this week.
