Several days ago, Merkel may have walked on her own into one a potentially career-ending, political traps as she prepares to runs for her fourth term as Chancellor in 2017, when she said has said "it would be particularly repulsive if a refugee, seeking protection in Germany, was the perpetrator" of the Monday Christmas market terrorist attack. Alas, despite having already been slammed by her political opponents, such as AfD's Frauke Petry, who have long claimed that any and all terrorist attacks on German soil are the direct result of Merkel's open door policies (the AfD and other anti-immigrant groups held a silent vigil outside Merkel's office in Berlin on Wednesday night to protest her refugee policies), it looks as if by even Merkel's own admission her government failed at every step to capture the Tunisian terrorism suspect - who we know by now was indeed a refugee seeking protection in Germany, even if it was not granted - despite having had ample opportunities.
As Bloomberg followed up overnight on just this issue, "critics are lambasting her for allowing hundreds of thousands of asylum-seekers to enter the country, allegedly without proper security checks."
After German media published photos of Anis Amri, federal prosecutors issued a public appeal for information along with the promise of a 100,000-euro ($105,000) reward for his arrest. Within hours it

Still can’t get over how the Germans fell for the phony “refugee crisis”
I thought they were supposed to be smart people.
Dummkopfs will still vote for her anyway.
Before getting our borders under control, get rid of all muzzies.
Tunisian “refugee” huh? And from what was this refugee from Tunisia fleeing...?
I found this article very interesting:
When I was actively involved in CT ops/intel, we rarely came across Tunisian jihadis. This statement from the linked article - if true - is pretty damned disturbing: “According to recent estimates, 7,000 Tunisians have joined the [ISIS] cause more than any other country, including much larger ones such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt.”
Could it be that Anis Amri, the suspect in the Berlin Christmas market attack, was one of those who joined ISIS in Iraq or Syria and infiltrated into Europe among the so-called refugees, which, by the way is exactly what ISIS said they would do. How many Anis Amris have come to the United States as “refugees” from Syria?
You mean, more details that the Merkel suicide-by-proxy government is trying every trick in the book to keep the public from finding out.
He was fleeing his home country's terrible shortage of slaughterable Christians.
The smart ones were killed during WWII.
She’s toast!
Omg, people here fell for the refugee crisis crap here too. My cousin wrote it into the Passover Seder homemade Haggadah (guide book we follow during the ritual meal)! We had to read stuff about how these refugees are like we Jews were, Israelites wandering through the desert. And how we need to open our arms. It was all I could do not to laugh or puke.
As an employee, I serve at the will of my employer and may be terminated from their service at their pleasure or any reason.
Why is a non-citizen of a country afforded an infinite legal process to stay in a country? Why can a country be unable to expel any non-citizen, for any reason, at their pleasure?
I don’t believe this article. Zero Hedge is a well-known fake news site, and it could simply be peddling what we on the right want to believe about the Germans. I would like to see a reputable German media site saying the same thing before I can believe....
If you couldn’t puke or leave, you at least had the numbing option of fully draining your four ceremonial glasses of wine.
Go to twitter. I read German and there are zero supportive tweets for her. They want her gone. They blame her. She wanted to train refugees to be truck drivers. I feel for Germany. Look, we have Obama and almost had Hillary. Their media is pro Merkel just like ours is pro O and H. The people feel otherwise, except those that are fooled.
Indeed!
It’s mostly murkul’s fault, but also that of the dummkopfs who walked around with signs saying “refugees welcome”.
Because they are not a country, they are just a member state of the EU and the UN. They are not free to think or act in their own interest.
(I’m going to have to use scare-marks, sorry)
The AfD, Germany’s “anti-immigrant” party founded in 2013 beat Angie in her home district about a year after she opened Germany to hundreds of thousands of muslim “refugees”.

Her ally, CSU, Germany’s conservative party is holding her feet to the fire as well.
Americans have been putting up with unbridled, open borders “immigration” for a quarter century.
I thought we were a smart country too, so how did 2008 and 2012 happen?
What happened here is happening there too, but a lot faster because they are learning the joys of diversity and multi-culturalism up close and personal.
