In an extensive post-election interview with Eater, TV personality and renowned chef Anthony Bourdain vowed to boycott Donald Trumps Washington D.C. hotel restaurant, and said he does not see evidence that America is a less racist country than it was in the 1960s.
I will never eat in his restaurant, the Parts Unknown host said when asked about chef Alessandro Borgognone bringing a new sushi restaurant, Nakazama, to the new Trump International Hotel in the nations capital. I have utter contempt for him, utter and complete contempt.
Bourdain said the chef doing business with Trump is not helpful.

Who cares with this pretentious bum thinks? He probably wasn’t going to eat it in anyway while there is still a Borneo food stall serving unwashed pig trotters.
God, I hate the “intellectual” class of foodies and chefs.
Anthony Bourdain mad because CNN got caught giving debate questions to Hillary before the debates.
His loss...
The guy is upset, because deporting illegals will damage the restaurant business, esp in California.
Anthony Bourdain’s mad because CNN got caught giving debate questions to Hillary before the debates.
And he’s with CNN...
His loss... eff him.
No, he’s not a Brit or a fag. He’s a low-class jerk from NJ.
Anthony Bourdain, self-described cocaine fiend, said something and I’m supposed to care??? I don’t think so...
Anthony, since you are a Southerner, you should especially appreciate the sentiment expressed in the following comment.
“Well, bless your heart, Anthony Bourdain!”
One person here thinks he’s a Brit, you think he’s a southerner.
No, he’s originally from NJ.
When I see him I smell cigarettes and self-hate.
He has been married . . and divorced . .twice
But then again, he does admit to eating testicles and rectums . . so who knows
Well, here’s his excuse:
He is also a former user of cocaine, heroin, and LSD. In Kitchen Confidential he writes of his experience in a trendy SoHo restaurant in 1981: “We were high all the time, sneaking off to the walk-in refrigerator at every opportunity to ‘conceptualize.’ Hardly a decision was made without drugs. Cannabis, methaqualone, cocaine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms soaked in honey and used to sweeten tea, secobarbital, tuinal, amphetamine, codeine and, increasingly, heroin, which we’d send a Spanish-speaking busboy over to Alphabet City to get.”[49]
Yet he will give his business to third world dictators.
What a POS.
He is a very good writer. Now I discover he’s an idiot.
That's pretty good.
The only food “critic” on TV that I listen to is Adam Richman. And maybe Guy Fieri. These guys go to real restaurants that the average American can afford to visit more than once in their lifetime.
Snoot-rags like Bourdain and his ilk do these shows so they can boost their snob-cred without actually having to pay for it.
btw, where is the massive moving out of the country procession?....I thought so many were leaving if DJT got elected?
“and, increasingly, heroin, which wed send a Spanish-speaking busboy over to Alphabet City to get.[49]
Gee, Tony, maybe your own racism at play here? Why didn’t you make your heroin runs yourself, Big Boy, go hang out with the minorities you so claim to love?
Heard the name and vaguely recall he is a chef or something....I thought he was from the UK. Can we send him there anyway?
A little-old-lady heroin-addicted mugger that lucked out writing a bio of his cooking/restaurant experiences.
He never grew up in that he still has to be of the "fight the power"/"edgy" generation for reasons that escape me.
He's an @ss when he should know better, particularly to the schleps in the food business. He spent years as one of them.
I stopped watching his shows a while back because of his arrogance, and he's become overly formulaic. And, because his show ended up on CNN.
