I worked next to the welfare office. Generation after generation after generation were on welfare. Very few ever tried to help themselves. The secretary finally got fed up with them and quit because they were getting more money doing nothing than she was working 40/hr. week. They’d come in whining they didn’t have milk for their children but laughed about partying the night before.

Then there was the program for students who could put their babies into government sponsored daycare. Free daycare, free diapers, free formula and meals, free toys, free everything. School let out for them at noon or 3:20 but they’d leave the kids there until 6 pm. They’d brag about this or that one night stand and hoped they’d be pg again soon. No slap up against the head for a reality check or budgeting class or life skills or anything. The more they popped out, the more free stuff they got.

Stop the money flow.

“Stop the money flow.”

Yes, and drugs and crime at the same time.

Put a reality squeeze on them as a self motivator.

Our country does not lack opportunity... It lacks motivation.

“Stop the money flow.”

That’s the only way to do it. Cut off their means of enablement and watch the behavior slowly disappear.

They will starve or get a job - either is fine by me.
