This madness is not an executive order but rather a clause passed in legislation back in 1953. I do not think Trump could reverse it without a court battle, which I am sure was Obama’s intent.

The article said Bush shortened a ban once... Maybe Trump can just shorten Obama's ban to five minutes.

Speaking of five minutes... I read that Congress will adjourn for only five minutes at the end of this session (at 11:55 am on January 4th) to stop Obama from a 1 year recess appt of a supreme court justice. Anyone want to take bets on what happens in the white house in those five minutes before noon on January 4th?

The decree could be reversed with a simple act of Congress repealing the 1953 statute in its entirety. No need for judges and other questionable officials.
