Kellyanne Conway Just Destroyed Idiots ‘Who Have No Idea What They Are Talking About’ On Russia
Conservative101 ^ | December 19, 2016

Posted on 12/19/2016 4:56:22 AM PST by detective

Obama and the Democrats keep coming up with ways to blame anyone but themselves for the outcome of this election. Their latest target is Russia, and Kellyanne Conway has finally had enough of it.

“The entire nonsense about the electors trying to use the Russian hacking issue to change the election results is really unfortunate. I think that actually undermines the democracy more than any other conservation that we are having fight now,” said Kellyanne Conway.

“SECTION 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; “

How many of the border states have submitted petitions to Congress or the President requesting protection from invasion? If any have, and were denied, how many sued in federal court demanding the Legislature and Executive branches fulfill their obligations?

Our government is the government created under our Constitution. What to call that government makes for a nice cat-fight, but it changes nothing and solves nothing.

Go KellyAnne.

Very articulate take no C...P representative of the change America really deserves...

She is great with these interviews, tells it like it is, and never lets the MSM shape the discussion.

Touching moment the other night when Donald asked her and Hope to join him on stage for well deserved recognition.

Hey libs, how come 2 women were prominent shapers of his campaign when he is so anti female..

Really, does this comment have to be put on every thread?

We all ‘get it’... but calling ourselves a ‘democracy’ is a term of art. And even though we know the difference we’re going to keep using the term.

We’ve heard you. Please give it a rest.

The reason I say our country encompasses elements of both is because at the local level pure democracy often exists as in when town councils post a referendum for the people to vote on. The majority will have their way and although every voter decision is subject to a judicial review if challenged, that is the case in a Constitutional as well as a Democratic Republic and even in a Democracy.

We have seen in other countries how the people have voted for something only to see a Judge overturn their vote because he feels differently

I get what you say about the Marxism but in reality what they espouse never has happened in the west to my knowledge.

I still maintain our government incorporates elements of both a Democratic and Constitutional Republic and there are other who agree. It is merely an opinion and we can agree to disagree.

One of the greatest benefits of Trump winning (at least to me) is that idiot josh earnest won't be on my tv anymore..ever!!!
I often wonder if he doesn't immediately jump into a very, very hot shower as soon as he gets home and lathers himself up with Lysol and Purex....all the stuff that spews forth from his mouth would have to make him feel really dirty..if he were actually human and actually had any sense of dignity.

States can do whatever they want. That was the plan to allow experimentation with States as long as they did not interfere with other States. The Federal govt is not in any way a Democracy and was intentionally set up to prevent such.

Our country Government is only Constitutional Republic - what you do locally with local issues is not within the realm of the Feds unless it runs afoul of an incorporated protection from the Bill of Rights.

Excellent comparative chart, especially where it shows DR to be corrupt and negligent in voting...

Except you need to scroll down to representative countries. USA=CR

Want me to stop reminding you that we are a Republic and not a democracy?

Fine, then start referring to the USA as a Republic and not a democracy.

But we ARE a democracy - a representative democracy whose representatives are elected through direct democratic elections, with the exception of the president.

We are also a republic. However, that term encompasses a lot of very different forms of government. The USSR was a republic with a constitution, as is present day Iran (an Islamic republic), and Spain and Argentina and Mexico were under their dictatorships. Many republics have no constitution nor elections.

We are a representative democracy in a constitutional republic Drink another cup of coffee and wrap your head around that.

Find the word democracy even once in our founding documents.

Article I, Section 2:
“The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year,...”
“When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.”

Article I, Section 4:
“The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations,...”

Amendment XVII:
“The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.”

See all those elections by the people?

That’s democracy.

The Roman and Greek “republics” were simply rule by the wealthy patrician baronial class. This conflict between dictator and oligarch has been a character of Western civilization- king vs barons, czar vs. boyars, etc., and is basically the attempt to strike a balance between effective unified exercise of political power and the corrupting influence of that power. When the king is corrupt, the aristocracy rises up in opposition. When the aristocracy is corrupt, a strong leader throttles them.

It is quite possible that the Internet might cause the citizenry to become well educated on the issues, enough to allow for direct popular vote, but AI machine intelligence may well relieve us of much of the partisanship of governance by simply allowing facts to speak for themselves and revealing corruption. Computers in and of themselves are not crazy.
