Interim DNC chair Donna Brazile spoke out on ABC’s This Week today about the leaked Democratic emails and Russian interference in the election, something she actually pushed back against President Obama on.
The president said at his press conference Friday that there was no “further tampering of the election process” after he personally confronted Vladimir Putin about it. Brazile claimed to Martha Raddatz this morning that this was not the case––that hackers went after them every day.
She briefly dismissed the controversy about emails showing her sending a town hall question to the Clinton campaign––saying it was all just “allegations from stolen hacked emails” (allegations that led to CNN formally severing ties with her)––and said the emails were “weaponized to sow misinformation and to sow discord between the Clinton and Sanders camps.”

See, they missed their opportunity. I would have said the emails were entirely fabricated. But no, they acknowledged them.

While I know it’s impossible to get anything but bluster and filibuster out of Donna Brazile, I have to ask, just what is inaccurate in those emails? They were written by Democrats, is she calling them liars?
Go argue with Obama, Donna. He did so much to help you guys even though Hillary brought nothing but scandal and failure when she served as his SoS
All jokes aside, Brazile doesn't seem to know the first thing about email.
Her own words are not 'allegations.' They are first-hand, unvarnished source material ie evidence. We can debate stolen and hacked but, as we constantly point out, not even she is denying their authenticity.

No, they were leaked by a disgusted staffer because the Clinton campaign was rigging the primaries.
Information that you wanted to keep hidden is not misinformation.
I do not understand how NBC can continue to pass itself as a news organization. There is no excuse for asking Brazille’s opinion about anything. Has anyone considered that she and hillary teaming up to provide debate questions is a reason hillary lost? It reinforced the “crooked hillary” view, and besides that proved that the DNC actively campaigned against Sanders.
