The FBI is supporting the CIA's conclusion that Russia interfered in the presidential election with the goal of supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump.
In a message sent to employees, CIA Director John Brennan said he had spoken with FBI Director James Comey and James Clapper, the director of national intelligence.
Brennan said in the message that "there is strong consensus among us on the scope, nature, and intent of Russian interference in our presidential election."
A U.S. official who had seen the unclassified message from Brennan confirmed it to The Associated Press on Friday.
President Barack Obama is promising that the U.S. will retaliate against Russia for its suspected meddling in America's election process, an accusation the Kremlin has vehemently denied.

Neutral or not they are supposed to be honorable and cast their vote as a reflection of the will of the people of their respective states not their own preferences.
Serious or not, about changing their vote, they are dishonoring the position they have been honored with and are deliberately casting doubt on the election and the system as a whole. That is a dishonorable and despicable thing to do.
The CIA has reason for concern. As the OSS under Truman was abolished by executive order and the CIA was born from those ashes, Trump can on day one issue an EO aboloshing the spooks. Obama did have to leave behind his much lauded ‘I have a phone and pen’.

It isn't FReepers who are generating a conspiracy it is the electors themselves who have been publicly threatening to change their votes and the media who has been loudly broadcasting their intentions and the rest of the Progressive cabal who has been actively encouraging them to go through with it who have generated a reasonable concern that there is a conspiracy to do so. I think it’s VERY unlikely Electors would go against what voters in their respective states sent them to do so I am anxious for Tuesday as well. I knew it was going to seem like an eternity between Nov 9TH and Dec 20th because the bastards were going stop at nothing to keep Trump out and they haven’t disappointed. We just need to know that it’s going to be war every time we win. I pray Trump will do something about Soros. In the good old days he would already have assumed room temperature.

President Truman did not trust the OSS and its increasing power.
At the end of WWII, he signed an ExO ending the OSS.

The Left’s crusade against Republican presidential electors is kicking into high gear even as the CIA-attributed story that Russian hackers won the White House for Donald Trump is going up in flames.
There is still no evidence –at least none that has been made publicly available– that the Russian government or Russian-backed cyber militias hacked anything to help Trump win the election but that’s not halting the Left’s efforts to delegitimize his presidency before it even begins.
Against this backdrop, members of the Electoral College are preparing to gather this Monday in the 50 states and the District of Columbia to fulfill their constitutional duty. Adding to the drama, some electors are demanding intelligence briefings on the alleged hacking before they vote.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, whose site released thousands of purported emails from senior Democrats during the recent election campaign, threw cold water on the Russian hacking conspiracy theory.
Assange told Sean Hannity yesterday, “Our source is not the Russian government.” He also said the information WikiLeaks received “has not come from a state party.”
What Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told the House Intelligence Committee on Nov. 17 suggests Assange may be right.
“As far as the WikiLeaks connection [to Russian hackers is concerned] the evidence there is not as strong and we don’t have good insight into the sequencing of the releases or when the data may have been provided,” Clapper said. “We don’t have as good insight into that.”
