The hardest thing about explaining very close election defeats is that you can talk yourself into believing any number of factors, large or small, could have made the crucial difference. Hillary Clintons defeat came down to 100,000 votes in three states out of nearly 130 million cast nationally. Thats a deficit so tiny that the search for a single culprit will probably take political detectives down the dark road to madness.
It is understandable that within the ranks of the Clinton campaigns own high command, it is an article of faith that FBI director James Comey cost HRC the presidency by making the ridiculous email-server issue the dominant subject of conversation during the crucial last days of the campaign. It was an external event that came out of the blue (or more specifically, out of the fevered libido of Anthony Weiner) and reinforced doubts about Clintons trustworthiness among a small group of undecided voters in key states.

She is a genius/s
So too are all of the leftists in their crying circles/s
This should be the only explanation one needs for the shocking surprise of Clinton supporters. They think the email server scandal was ridiculous.
There are plenty of us (many of which have a background in classified material) that want her thrown in prison.
The “only” thing the Commey thing did was to re-energize my belief that Trump would win.
I was starting to get a little dispirited and then WHAM! Commey info game out and I was on top of the world!
Yep. I'd go further and say that Hillary ran a campaign based on cash, but then a good deal of that ended up in other pockets than campaign ones.
But you could see it happening in the rallies. The numbers and the passion. The only passion we saw from the Hillary crowd was sorrow.
Given the possibility of rigged voting, I’m not buying the
idea that Hillary’s defeat came down to 100,000 votes
**************
Factor in that approximately 1.3 million votes of Hillary’s total nationwide
vote margin came from one county, Los Angeles County.

Hillary ..1,893,770
Trump ..... 620,285

If the fraudulent votes were removed HRC’s total numbers would be significantly less. She might even have lost The left coast by 1%.
Had all of the absentee and military ballots been counted her loss would have been greater.
She cheated at every turn and still lost.
And they ran him TWICE.
Insanity, doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result.
Could have been divine providence that the hag bitch from hell just didn’t have what it takes
Hillary may have been too beautiful to win.
Hillayr may have been too kind and generous to win.
But she wasn’t.
Nor is she too smart to win.
Reading the tea leaves didn’t work but a head count at HRC appearances vs DJT rally attendance numbers should have provided a bit of a clue. But those numbers were seemingly disregarded.
Puzzling behavior to say the least.
“Horse puckey. The had all their voter fraud in place in the large cities, but didnt count on the turnout in suburbs where they voted against Hillary.”
Bingo.
Nixon called him an "egghead".
And they ran him TWICE.
Insanity, doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result.
Of course the Republicans ran Thomas E. Dewey twice, although with different opponents. Maybe it was also insane for the Democrats not to learn from that.
Heck, Dems ran ‘progressive’ William Jennings Bryan THREE times.
See #74.
The Seattle Seahawks' defeat in Super Bowl XLIX came down to 2 yards with a minute to go in the game.
Too smart? Too stupid is more like it.
hrc could have won if she’d have come out of the closet. LGBTQXYZ would snap up the “I like dyke” buttons.
Well at least they can’t blame the Bushes. They were all on her side.
