Source: Hegseth top contender for VA post
A senior Trump transition source tells Fox News that Pete Hegseth is currently considered the top contender for the secretary of Veterans Affairs position.
Hegseth visited Trump Tower on Thursday. Hegseth is a Fox News contributor and veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
Fox News is told the search continues, however, and Hegseth was not offered the job at the meeting Thursday.
Other candidates are said to still be in the running.
The VA post is one of the last remaining Trump Cabinet positions for which the president-elect has not named a nominee.

I like Kimberly, and I know she will be super effective. Her looks should not be used against her - any more than a “plain jane” or some old fat guy like me. However, they will.
Makes me uncomfortable (as I would be in her presence, now that I think about it)
