DEVELOPING – A jury in South Carolina Thursday convicted Dylann Roof in the racially-motivated shootings that killed nine black church members during a Bible study in Charleston last year.

The jury of nine white people and three black people deliberated less than two hours before returning a verdict, finding him guilty on all counts against him. Roof, 22, faced 33 federal charges, including hate crimes and obstruction of the practice of religion.

It's a Federal case ("hate crime").I'm almost certain that death is an option for the jury in this case,just as it was for the Boston Marathon bomber.

In his confession he said he chose a church because he figured there was little danger to himself. However, from what I’ve read many churchgoers are now armed or have some members acting as armed security.
