It's a Federal case ("hate crime").I'm almost certain that death is an option for the jury in this case,just as it was for the Boston Marathon bomber.
That aspect bugs me, big time.
That "hate crime" designation should only be invoked when a state is obviously unwilling to exact the appropriate punishment. I don't thing the State of SC would have any problem giving him a dirt nap.
