The transcript clearly documents that Dunham was enrolled at the University of Washington for two classes that began on Aug. 19, 1961: Anthropology 100, “Introduction to the Study of Man” and Political Science 201, “Modern Government.”

It was later uncovered that this August 19 date had to be wrong, there was no one at the University of Washington until the semester started in September.

The following email was sent by Ms. Virjean Edwards to the original researcher on July 26, 2010:
This is to confirm that when Ms. Obama’s record was entered into the Student Data Base, an error had been made and the month was entered as August (8) and not September (9). The staff person made an honest mistake since on the original record the 9 is typed on the line which makes the 9 look like an 8. Our office investigated this, found that the class did not begin until September so corrected the on-line transcript changing the month from August to September.

In 1961 the goal was to give a child an ID that didn't divulge who his parents were. He probably didn't know about all this until he left high school. We smelled a rat when Virginia Goeldner told the world that Madelyn told her in 1982, when she and her husband visited the Dunhams, that they were looking after the boy because his mother had died in 1970. Now wouldn't that have made you curious?
Considering that Stanley Ann Dunham and Lolo lodged a joint tax return in Honolulu in 1973, and claimed little Maya as their only dependant...we knew that couldn't be true. Like I said, War and Peace is an easier read.
