How Hillary Lost Michigan: Laugh out Loud Worthy
American Spectator ^ | December 14, 2016, 9:37 am | MELISSA MACKENZIE

Hillary Clinton wants to blame the Russians for her loss. It’s easy to see why...

a week-and-a-half out, the Service Employees International Union started hearing anxiety out of Michigan [and] union officials decided to reroute their volunteers...

Turn that bus around, the Clinton team ordered SEIU. Those volunteers needed to stay in Iowa to fool Donald Trump into competing there, not drive to Michigan, where the Democrat’s models projected a 5-point win through the morning of Election Day...

Michigan operatives relay stories like one about an older woman in Flint who showed up at a Clinton campaign office, asking for a lawn sign and offering to canvass, being told these were not “scientifically” significant ways of increasing the vote, and leaving, never to return. A crew of building trade workers showed up at another office looking to canvass, but, confused after being told there was no literature to hand out like in most campaigns, also left and never looked back...

If that doesn’t warm the cockles of your heart, nothing will....

Exit question: Did Hillary’s team count on voter fraud in Detroit to win the election? Is that why they didn’t bother?

Trump I felt was having the time of his life doing the rallies. I think he missed them after the election so we now get a thank you tour. Not sure but it wouldn’t surprise me once he is President we will see a few more but less since he has a lot of work to do ...

You're right xp38.

Trump also uses rallies to go around the press and to gage the honest feelings of the American people. Democrats write fake letters to their people AND our officials to influence them. The pity party letters Trump's going to receive will look like they're written from long time backers... RATHER THAN THAT THEY'RE REALLY COMING FROM DEMOCRAT WAR ROOMS.

Trump's the only Republican smart enough to have figured out that 'somethings up with the spread' between the 'letters and the people'. Trump must have an IQ through the roof...

Oh, and 'the press' gets the fake letters too... it's why they were blindsided by the revolution. Of course the New York Times and Washington Post types are too stupid to catch they're being played for fools by democrat war rooms..

I have a different theory based on what we saw that campaigns are NOT won based on the squishy center. What matters instead is the ability to excite and turn out those who are inclined to vote for you already. That’s where I think hitlery failed and DJT prevailed.

Correct. Richard says they have used extremely detailed digging to figure out who the real “likely voters” are but that unlike the majors, they don’t go in with a “model” and try and forced respondents into a model, but analyze responses and “let the data talk to us.”

National polls are still good because #1) they directionally tell you if the race is close or not 2) provide a barometer to whether or not a state poll is BS or not (eg: if HRC was up +2 nationally, no chance Trump is down by 1 in GA or tied in SC like some state polls showed) 3) Unless the race is within 2-3% nationally, the national popular vote winner will almost certainly win the electoral college.

State polls were all over the board. On the same day a couple weeks before the election for example, 6 NC polls came out within 24 hours - 2 had Trump up big (4-6%), 3 had Clinton up big (5-7%), and 1 had it tied. If you think HRC's popular vote lead is +10%, then HRC up 5-7% is likely right. If you think the race is close to tied, it's safe to throw out those 3 state polls from NC that had her up massively.

The reason she lost is obvious. trump got more votes.

I can buy into that theory. That’s why Hillary received 6 million fewer votes than Obama in 2012.

I understand the concept of the Electoral College. But why do there have to be”middle men” Electors? Why can’t we skip the middle man and have the electoral votes for each state be credited to that state’s winner immediately after the state’s election is certified? I’m sure there must be a reason, but it doesn’t really make sense.

“One word...GOD...”

We sure did cover this election with prayer, and I guess I did more concentrated praying than ever before in my life. Expect that many FReepers can say the same thing. (And I thank Him every day.)

As another FReeper noted, more people voted against Hillary than for her.

“Notice how vehemently the Left and the MSM deny there is any way to commit voter fraud because the machines are accurate. The problem isn’t with the machines...”

The machines most likely are accurate for the most part. One problem is the crooked election workers feeding the same Hillary ballots through the scanners multiple times.

I actually don’t much like my own theory because it means that a lot of what I did in knocking on doors was not effective. It is what it is.

The biggest threat of fraud in my opinion is the absentee vote by mail. There is no check on these ballots and a Houston organization (True the Vote which the IRS has still failed to issue a tax exemption for) found locations for voters which were vacant lots or single family homes which were the address for 35-50 voters.

I realize this is just anecdotal, but when I visited an Indian casino in SoCal, the roulette tables gamblers were all Chinese/Orientals. They covered the betting table for each spin of the wheel—hundreds of chips. It does seem that gambling appeals to them on a deep level.

I think Trump was the front runner from when he promised the Wall and herding the foreign invaders out of America.
His 10,000-plus rallies vs. Arf-Arf-Arf ‘Why aren’t I 50-percent ahead’ speeches show that he was always ahead.
DJT’s mistakes - mainly with women - prevented a landslide.

Yes. My husband and I traveled through Hong Kong and Singapore many times and saw all the gambling casinos. The Chinese believe in LUCK and MONEY, so gambling is as embedded in their culture as is their writing.

They rely on 祝你好运.

:o)

Thing of beauty.
