What does the administration want the names for if not to use it against them?
Maybe he wants to prepare commendations (or treats). Their next commands will be “play dead” and “roll over.”
It’s Trump’s team who wants the names.
Unless your use of the word “Administration” means Trump, but that is confusing, as only Obama fits that at the present time.
Because Trump knows since he’s not President that they don’t have to give him the names and likely will not. The reason is two-fold IMO, one, to put them on notice hoping most of them scurry, and 2, see who screeches the loudest and look at them for covering up their illegal activities. Smart!
It is always fun when you get to play your Trump card.
Doesn't matter why they wanted the info; it's irrelevant. It's a management prerogative. As has been noted, they're subject to Civil Service protections.
As for something "being used against them," here in the real world we call that accountability.
This is foolishness and arrogance on the part of the EPA. They may think they're sending a message, but the message received is much different.
It shows the need to come in with a fire hose and steel toed boots.
“What does the administration want the names for if not to use it against them?”
You say that, like it’s a bad thing.
