They volunteer that ‘the emails are faked’, “Mr. Podesta is a fine man” and are literally unhinged before we have a chance to even say ‘hello’. They stomp into the office looking for a fight.

It is just unreal, the level of angst and paranoia. They have no mediation and evidently no idea how they are perceived. This goes for Go Pee types as well as entrenched progs. I'm lucky to live in a community and work at an institution where many voted for Trump. Some voted for Hillary, but we respected each other, because our focus was elsewhere (religion, education, etc.).
My friend, a librarian at a community college, was grilled constantly about her political views by her liberal colleagues, who sensed she was a Trump supporter. They must have looked at her like she was either trash or some exotic plant waiting to sprout tendrils.
My friend was very uncomfortable. The negative vibes must have been powerful. She would love to leave, because of the rampant left-wing environment, but needs her job.
