Never, ever, ever discuss politics with people you don’t know.
There’s so many irrational people out there these days and you just have no idea how they’ll respond.
They volunteer that ‘the emails are faked’, “Mr. Podesta is a fine man” and are literally unhinged before we have a chance to even say ‘hello’. They stomp into the office looking for a fight.
My husband terminated one client for this behavior and reminded another one that politics was off limits for conversation, a firm rule since the primaries.
It is just unreal, the level of angst and paranoia. They have no mediation and evidently no idea how they are perceived. This goes for Go Pee types as well as entrenched progs. Some can be talked down to a semblance of civility, but others just mutter and stalk, looking as though they haven’t slept in weeks.
