I drink buttermilk like it is going out of style. I wish it came in gallon sized containers.

Ahhh, buttermilk.

I bought some recently for a fried green tomatoes recipe. It was a 1/2 gallon full fat Bavarian style. I ended up drinking a glass daily just cause it was so good. Reminded me of unflavored yogurt somewhat.

Store was out of it last time I checked but your post has started a craving. I’ll be buying it again as soon as I find it. Very satisfying.

Oh ... and the fried green tomatoes were fantastic! Buttermilk really helped the breading to stick.

I love milk and butter but I could never stand buttermilk.

Me, too. It satisfies my urge to eat before bedtime. It’s slightly acid. I usually drink low fat or no fat kind. I can only find it in quarts.
