Responding to intelligence officials’ report that Russia tried to influence the U.S. presidential election in favor of President-elect Donald Trump, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain (R-Arizona) on Sunday said he doesn’t know what to make of Mr. Trump’s dismissal of the issue.
“I don’t know what to make of it because it’s clear the Russians interfered,” he told CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “Whether they intended to interfere to the degree that they were trying to elect a certain candidate, I think that’s a subject of investigation. But facts are stubborn things. They did hack into this campaign.”
In an interview with “Fox News Sunday,” Mr. Trump said Sunday that new revelations about Russia’s influence on his behalf are “ridiculous.”
“It’s just another excuse. I don’t believe it,” Trump said. “… Every week it’s another excuse. We had a massive landslide victory, as you know, in the Electoral College.”
McCain called for a select committee to further investigate the extent of Russia’s influence and intentions.
“I would like in an ideal world to have a select committee,” he said, adding that he would hope such a committee would be made up of leaders on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Foreign Relations Committee and Armed Services Committee.

McCain controls the election boards process in AZ. Most are folks friendly to him and they can keep out challengers in any number of ways. Further he’s not McAmnesty for nothing because their illegal votes are cast for him over his rivals.
So John, exactly what did the Russians do and how did it effect the election? Chuck Todd was unable to answer the question today when Reince tore into him.
He doesn’t seem very curious about political campaigns getting money from foreign donors.

A lot of old folks in sun city just vote straight ticket. We had a strong primary opponent for him this year, but he has a massive war chest. My conscience is clear, last time I voted for him was 2008 because he was on the same ticket as Sarah Palin.

If Russia wanted to take advantage of the situation they would get evidence of criminal wrongdoing and then hope that Hillary DOES get elected and use the material as blackmail to influence US policy.

Trump needs to clean house at the CIA, the Bush era intelligence agency has been hog tied and turned into a politically correct debacle that has failed completely for the past 8 years... From Benghazi to the Crimea and Syria, and through leaks from both Julian Assange and Snowden the CIA has completely failed in their duty to protect the American people and to take care of America’s interest abroad. They are complicit in the Benghazi cover up and they have neutered counter intelligence to the point where there essentially is no American counter intelligence.

If they had instead hacked an industry consortium that was somehow fouling the environment of the snail darter, the Democrats would hail them as heroes.
As both are private organizations with political motives, there is precisely no difference. The only people making something of this are Democrats, the Media and the Neoconservatives.
I'd also like to remind everyone that Soros has been interfering with our elections for DECADES! He's meddled in not only our elections, but elections in Europe and Israel. What George Soros did all throughout this election make what the Russians MIGHT have done pale in comparison.
Mexico also interfered to to a lesser extent but since they want Hillary, the media was fine with it!!
And then there's the MSM, they did everything they could to undermine Trump and his entire campaign! They have never been more dishonest, partisan, and bias.
For Democrats to complain about what the Russians did in possibly supply WIKIleaks with dirt on the Clintons and Podesta....hypocrisy doesn't even begin to cover it!
