Coincidentally, we had a talk at breakfast about a letter I just got from SS Admin. It was written in dozens of languages.

What I would like to see from President Trump is a declaration that within 2- 4 years the government will return to recognizing English as our language of business. Subsequently there will be no more printing or translating for select groups. So, everyone has three years to learn the basics of the language we use in all services and laws or make arrangements to hire your own interpreter.

BTW- I've always wondered why select groups spending tons of lobby money to talk our legislators into doing business in their language didn't serve their constituents by doing it themselves. (and why our spineless legislators caved in to them)

Agreed...The wife and I mention that often, all kinds of paperwork have multiple languages more and more now.
