On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski reveals that after she had warned that the Clinton campaign needed to stop arrogantly assuming that the race was over, "NBC got a call from the campaign that I had done something that was journalistically inappropriate that needed to be pulled off the air."

No proof, just pattern of behavior and the nature of things. I bet hundreds of people have called NBC and asked that one host or another be taken off the air. Is that newsworthy? Hell no. Some crank calls up, maybe from the Clinton camp, and shoots their mouth off. Same thing, as far as I am concerned, as me calling and saying Mika out to be taken off the air.
A serious call for her removal? By somebody who "has the power" to influence management at NBC? Well then, Mika, name names. No name, it didn't happen. She's just filling air to make "the press" seem important, and her opinions in particular to be profound. The point of the segment was to lay blame for Crooked's loss, and Mika is saying "in part because the campaign did not follow advice such as what I offered."
Mika’s had lots of practice pulling Joe off the air.
Maybe so but a claim such as was made against Clinton is not a very “Liberal” thing too do and makes Crooked look very bad and “thuggish”
I think she’s pretty.
I've re-watched all the usual suspects: PBS, NBC, MSNBC, Fox, CBS, CNN, ABC and some of the minor league players too. You are correct. They stalled on Georgia and initially suggested it was in play. They wouldn't call Florida with 95% in, saying desperately that Broward Cty might still save Clinton's chips. Same with NC, WI, MI, PA, AZ. They stalled, most of them, on officially calling it until Trump was actually speaking, saying he'd gotten the call from Clinton. And the commentary all night was near 100% anti-Trump across the board. Megyn Kelly was actually one of the least rabid among them.
Along about 9pm they knew the tide had turned and they acknowledged the growing possibility of a Trump win, and finally they discussed it as if it were certain, but the official call was (un)scrupulously avoided.
And they hammered out one note constantly: white people, whites are responsible, whites coming out of the woodwork, whitelash!
Hillary??
The new center at the State Department monitoring “fake news’ will be able to take care of these speech infractions.
This center to monitor news for “truth” is going through congress now. It includes monitoring news the globalist elite don’t like from foreign nations and from “extremists.”
I partially agree with you, but I'd add another reason. They remember Sore-Loserman 2000. One of the reasons FL was so close in that election is that the networks called FL for Gore before the polls were closed. The Fl panhandle goes west into another timezone, and is conservative. The networks were heavily blamed for discouraging voter turnout (which would clearly have helped GWB in the panhandle), and became gunshy about early calls.
“NBC got a call from the campaign that I had done something that was journalistically inappropriate that needed to be pulled off the air.”
Mika is a journalist?
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOD GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mika :)
But you’ve destroyed millions of my brain cells and made it impossible to touch any woman for a week due to the image you planted in my head.
All the polls were closed long before Trump’s victory speech. I think the FL 2000 mess is only an excuse they trot out when the Republican is winning.
Gore retracted on election night 2000. Kerry withheld comment on election night 2004. Clinton refused to speak on election night 2016. That’s the most recent 3 Republican victories where they did all they could to prevent the winner from acknowledging victory and the loser from acknowledging defeat.
I don’t give them any benefit of the doubt, that they are simply trying to be prudent journalists. They’re partisans.
I have heard some stories of grown men, small to medium business owners, crying uncontrollably in response to Trumps win, tears of joy and relief. They were convinced that they were to loose everything they ever worked for if HRC had won.
Oh, the other one. She isn’t to bad in a pinch, but since she’s a lib, it’s no telling where she’s been.
Well I think they have burned their bridges with Trump, he will not go on the show and they screwed up, so they are out in the cold.
