If the campaign devolved into a discussion of Trump's years-old comments about women, it's because that's how the media wanted it. The media morons forgot that their rallying around Bill Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal inoculated future candidates from easy take-downs over their own sexual peccadilloes. The media tried to play it both ways, and the public saw through it.

In the debate with Sarah Palin Biden told a number of whoppers. One of them was about a Home Depot he shopped at on Union Street. There isn't one. Another about a diner he frequents after his train ride home on weekends. A regular joint with regular people called "Katie's." Unfortunately, Katie's had closed 15 years before the debate.

It’s almost unbelievable that Donald Trump had the foresight to have some faked locker room talk secretly recorded 20 years before running for President just so it could be surreptitiously “leaked” a couple months before election day in order to “suck up all the the oxygen in the air” by tricking the the media into avoiding covering “serious issues”.
