Well, my missed shots will be retained within the foundation of the house. I’d say that’s pretty much no chance.
My point is like yours: handguns accuracy in stress situations is low. The odds of hitting a bystander (as there apparently were in the draft behind the knife-wielder) were too high for me to take that shot.
Maybe police are trained to a different standard, and someone will tell me why the shoot was okay.
But according to the posts above, I would do virtually anything other than take a shot knowing bystanders were behind the knife guy.
No he was most likely aim for the head for a central nervous disconnect. Hitting the neck worked as well.
