The truth is that the Obama years have been among America’s worst for the economy. His eight years will go down in history as the Great Recession, even though for much, even most, of the span, we weren’t technically in a recession.
It just felt that way. And no wonder. Obama’s is the only modern presidency that failed to show a single year of growth above 3 percent, a point Trump stressed during the campaign (and that was conceded even by the Web site Politifact).
Plus, the Obama economy failed to prosper even though the Federal Reserve had its pedal to the metal. Its quantitative easing, $2 trillion balance-sheet expansion and zero-interest-rate policy all produced zilch.

Nobody believes that; Hillary lost primarily because of the economy. Same BS at the end of BJ Clinton’s reign; if the economy was half as good as the news portrayed, Gore would have crushed Bush II.
Some people did well, but most didn’t; even leftists today (now that the election is over) are admitting many Americans haven’t had a raise in DECADES - and that includes BJ Clinton AND Obama.
All the Fed has done is artificially support Zero. I expect a transient drop when the Fed starts raising rates. When do they next meet?

Yesterday I saw a news story about homeless people; I can’t remember the last time I saw one. I also expect “McJob” to start appearing in “news” stories again...
The homeless near me are paid by Soros. If you watch them, you can see them getting walking around money.

That’s been the plan all along. The affirmative action chair of the Fed is too stupid to understand simple economics and will gladly tank the economy just to make her magic negro look good, even though he’ll be reduced to dancing for tips in a few months.
I believe in the NYC metro area any “homeless” are voluntarily so (because of restrictions on substance abuse in shelters and such). There was just a horrible news story about two young girls killed by a radiator accident in an apartment in NYC; the apartment was provided to them and their parents by the city because they were homeless. Anyone who wants to get off the street can do so; some just don’t want to do so.
You’re so right; when ObamaCare ran into problems I stopped hearing it was Otoken’s “signature accomplishment” (especially after BJ Clinton - our “first black president” - publicly shredded ObamaCare). Now they have to fabricate another legacy, while the real one will be Ferguson/Baltimore/etc. and the election of Donald Trump.
But then when they want to talk about Obama's legacy, suddenly it's all sunshine here in America, the Best Days Ever. And these were the same news outlets, at different times over the last 8 years.
Define “Healthy Economy” and then find one that’s ever existed.
I don’t think GDP ever broke 2% on an annual basis.
Yup, it’ll be low until Jan 21 2017.. Then they will “find” many people all of the sudden lost their jobs and it’ll jump to 15% over night.
No more McJobs. they are being replaced with robots and self serve kiosks due to increasing wage demands.
