How many people pushing 70 does he need in his cabinet????

Considering the fundamental stupidity of the current political class, he may need all of them.

Ambassador to China will be 70-year old Terry Branstad, the Governor of Iowa.

Every damn one he can find who knows what the hell they are doing!

Millenials and GenX has wreaked a lot of havoc, and some adults are going to now have to clean it up.

The highest SAT scores were in the’60s, and that was before they revamped the scoring so that points are awarded for putting your name on the paper.

It's not a bad idea to put people age 68 (or so) and older in charge. We're the ones who grew up in a US with unlimited potential and promise. If these people can mentor one or a few to take their place, the collective memory of what it will take to Make America Great Again will not be lost. I like the idea of the successful grownups being in charge, a lot.

Besides which, think of all the left-wing crazies who will be permanently reduced to stammering when the WWF gal is in charge of the SBA.

As many as possible. Trump is 70. Reagan was up there, too.

As a mid-40’s guy, I say let’s turn over government to the adults for a while. My generation and near it have proven disastrous.

They are part of my generation (boomers) and it was always a wish as a young man to see the greatness of what I think was the last great generation (us) to lead our nation. Bet there are a lot of boomers on this board that feel the same.

And...pushing 70 isn’t old anymore.

“How many people pushing 70 does he need in his cabinet????”

Assuming good health and good energy, an educated, intelligent and experienced 70 year old is 50 years wiser than an equivalent 20 year old, including themselves at 20.

He could just go ahead and promote people who have never accomplished anything but are not pushing 70.

You should be thankful he is selecting for experience (that often requires age) and not for racial, deviant personality, and sexual perversion characteristics.
