Donald Trump is taking advice from President Obama about his cabinet appointments, the president-elect revealed on Wednesday.
“We have a really good chemistry together. I really like him as a person,” Trump told NBC’s Matt Lauer on the “Today” show.
Asked if he talked to the president about possible appointments, Trump responded: “I have asked him what he would think of this one and that one. We have a very good dialogue.”
He continued to kvell: “I do like him. I love getting his ideas. I take his recommendations very seriously. There are some people I will be appointing and I have appointed that he thought very highly of that person.”
Trump wouldn’t reveal more details — or which specific appointments have been discussed.
But the president-elect said to expects his secretary of state appointment to come next week.

LOL -- reminds me of the time I saw a tv variety show on which Ann-Margret sang "Proud Mary" with Tina Turner, which was almost ludicrous, after which Tina gestured gracefully with both hands towards Ann-Margret and led the audience in applauding for Ann-Margret. Tina is a great lady!
Trump is rope-a-doping Obama until he is gone and can do no more damage. This transition period is very dicey to deal with, especially as Obama is still in power and therefore could be extremely dangerous. Trump is attempting to tamp down any further destruction to our country using flattery with Obama the narcissist to keep him under some control. It’s going to be tough to keep Obama from going rogue in this last month and a half.
Trump showing class in the face of Obama’s treachery and doing what he can to encourage folks to oppose him. Unlike Obama, Trump knows Obama is irrelevant from here on out.
